Truth Club is a band from Raleigh.

Truth Club have announced their highly-anticipated sophomore LP, Running From the Chase (out October 6th via Double Double Whammy), and sharing a new single entitled “Exit Cycle” which features Indigo De Souza, and arrives with a video made by Alex Montenegro of Truth Club’s DDW labelmate Skirts.
In late June, the Raleigh band announced their signing to Double Double Whammy and shared a single called “Blue Eternal,” which arrived alongside a Stereogum Band To Watch feature, and generated more critical excitement, seeing praise from outlets like Pitchfork, The Fader, Consequence, BrooklynVegan and Paste among others.
“If Pavement and Slint had a group musical therapy session, something like ‘Exit Cycle’ might emerge.” —The Fader
“The whole song sounds off-kilter in the best way, and it slots in nicely next to the strain of grimy but melodic music that has been emerging from North Carolina over the past few years.” —Stereogum
“a screeching, melodic track interlaced with moody indie-rock influence. Distorted guitar riffs underscore a half-sung, half-yelled exploration of weariness, disassociation and nihilism.” —Paste
“a raucously loud, two-minute heavy indie banger” —BrooklynVegan
